Building a Battery

My friends often talk about the cool robots they're building in their majors or things along those lines. Not that I'm all about building robots, but it just seems cool to create something substantial and see it work. I felt like most of Course 20 research and work involved less tangible stuff, so creating the virus-powered battery was fascinating.

It was rather frightening when Haley and I seemed to have barely any active material, but our battery still worked in the end- the amazing power of biomineralization- only a small amount was enough.

Sorry I don't have any cool memes, but this module really showed me that there are so many facets to bioengineering, and I am excited to explore  them.
